FMSC Christmas Party and Gift Exchange

Each year the members of the Flower Mound Social Club get together and have a quasi "White Elephant" gift exchange. Why the word "quasi"?

In the past we have had such gifts as "the Bumper Dumper" (you had to be there), A singing Billy Bass Fish, a singing James Brown and many more less than desirable gifts. However, some people like to bring nicer gifts.

So, if you have a good since of humor, great attitude and enjoy the party for what it is, then the mixture of gag gifts along with nicer gifts makes the whole process a lot of fun.

The Gift Exchange Rules have been designed to give everyone a somewhat fair chance at getting a gift you want. But, not always.

So please plan to attend the gift exchange. Keep your eye on this web page and we will let you know when and where the festivities will be held.

GIFT GUIDELINES

	EVERYONE is required to bring a gift.
	Gifts can be a nice one or a not so nice one. We have had Cameras, TVs, and Alcohol given away over the years that have thrilled the recipients. We have also had body part enlargers (Rebecca, did it work?), Rugs & Mugs, and a variety of worthless stuff that didn’t exactly thrill the recipients
	Let your conscience be your guide.

GIFT EXCHANGE RULES

Everyone draws a number

Number ONE gets first choice of anything under the tree and LAST choice of stealing any gift.

Number TWO has the choice of “Stealing” Number ONE's gift or selecting from under the tree.

Number THREE and all subsequent numbers, have the same choice of “Stealing” any previously opened gift OR going to the Tree to select an unopened gift.

When a person has their gift “Stolen”, they have the option of “Stealing” any previously opened gift from another FMSC'er OR going to the Tree to select an unopened gift.

You may NOT steal the same gift in the SAME round.

There will a maximum of THREE “STEALS" in any one round. That means the FOURTH person (third person to be stolen from) will be required to return to the Tree to select an unopened gift.

ALL gifts remain available for “Stealing” until the end of the Gift Exchange.

ALL gifts must stay until the Gift Exchange is over. If you need to leave early, ANYONE that is staying has the right to swap with you. This “swapping” can be done until no one wants the gift you are leaving with.
